THEATRE & STAGE PHOTOGRAPHY

Professional theatre photography capturing the energy, emotion and storytelling of live performance. From school productions and amateur theatre to musical theatre and dramatic plays, I photograph the performances, characters and moments that bring each production to life.

Working discreetly during dress rehearsals and live performances, I capture expressive moments on stage, the interaction between performers and the atmosphere of the production, alongside cast portraits and behind-the-scenes photography. Images are professionally edited and delivered quickly, ready for websites, social media, programmes, publicity and future productions.

Production & Rehearsal Photography

Coverage of dress rehearsals, live performances, plays and musical theatre, capturing key scenes, individual performances and ensemble moments. I work unobtrusively around the production, making the most of the stage lighting and action without disrupting the performers or audience.

Cast Portraits & Promotional Photography

Professional portraits of actors and performers, from individual character shots to full cast and crew photographs. With portable studio lighting and backdrops available on location, I can also provide more controlled portraits for promotional material, websites, programmes and social media.

Online Galleries & Print Sales

A secure online gallery makes it easy for theatre companies, performers, parents and audiences to view and share photographs. An integrated print store also allows people to purchase digital downloads and prints directly, providing a convenient way to share production photographs while helping schools and theatre groups reduce upfront costs or raise funds.

“Rob is a wonderful photographer! I am part of a performing arts company in Kingston Upon Thames and Rob took photos of a charity production I was involved in Teddington. It was very easy to work with him. He is relaxed and unobtrusive and his creative instincts are spot on. I was absolutely thrilled with the final photos and I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Rob to anyone looking for a show photographer.”
